Oisín Moore, Jack Foley, Greg Baburkin & Einon Gottschall- Jones represented Skibbereen Community school under the team name 'Shadow Racing 'at this year’s national STEM Racing competition. The event took place in the scenic Saile Sports and Community Centre in Kinsale.
Students were judged on their engineering design, enterprise, marketing, pit display and raced their mode F1 car down a 30m track. Judging included giving verbal presentations to judging panels, justifying their CAD drawings, design decisions, marketing strategies, and DFM approach.
Shadow Racing recorded the 3rd fastest time on the day.
