Business Information Systems

Business Information Systems at the Cork University Business School, University College Cork are delighted to invite students to participate in MakeITWork 2020.

This initiative will help students think about the kinds of careers they might like to pursue, and gain a better understanding of the role of technology in business and society.  Students will also gain insight into the BIS Degree at UCC, enabling them to make an informed decision when choosing their third level course.

BIS MakeITWork Days 2019/2020 are as follows:

Tuesday 11th February 2020 - 5th Year & Transition Year Students (registration open - 20th Jan 2020)

Tuesday 10th March 2020 - 5th Year & Transition Year Students (registration open - 10th Feb 2020)

 

At first instance all interested candidates must notify school guidance counsellor as soon as possible and places for these programmes are limited and quickly filled.

 

All sessions commence at 9.00am (on-site registration) and conclude at 12.30pm.

 

There is a maximum of 4 students per school as numbers are limited.

B. Comm Convention

The BComm Convention will take place in UCC on Wednesday 22nd April 2020 from 9.00am-1.00pm in Boole 4.  

This event is open to all senior cycle students.   Students will be expected to attend in their uniforms on the day.  To reserve places please contact Anne Wallace (a.wallace@ucc.ie) and provide your name, email address, the name of your school and year of study.  

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come-first served basis!
