TY students from Ms O’Sullivans Religion class carry out litter picking every week during their first class on a Monday morning, weather permitting.

This great initiative allows students to develop an understanding of what caring for your local community looks like and gives them an view of the massive work done by the Skibbereen Tidy Towns volunteers on a weekly basis.

Skibbereen won the gold medal in the national Tody Town Competition this year and their committee highlighted the great input our school had in this achievement
