‘Skibbereen taking on Food Waste’ was a key project for Skibbereen Tidy Towns in 2022/23.
Funded by the Clean Technology Centre at Munster Technological University, SCS students had the opportunity to partake in a number of food waste awareness events.
The CTC kindly sponsored two €100 gift cards as prizes in a draw for students who successfully completed the online food waste course. The lucky winners were Niamh and Oleg. Many congratulations.
Congratulations to Leah and Heidi who received a West Cork Garda Youth award on Friday night in the West Cork Hotel in Skibbereen. Ricky Barrett RIP also received a posthumous award.
