Congratulations to our U17 Boys Soccer Team and their coaches, Mr. Cathal McCarthy and Mr. Brendan Doherty on their Cup win today. They faced very tough opposition from Carrigaline who are a very good team. It was a cracking match on the school pitch with great home support. The game finished level at full time with Jack O Brien scoring our only goal. The full panel played their hearts out by tackling, closing down and passing their way out of trouble. Goalkeeper Cormac McCarthy saved the team on a number of occassions. The defence, midfield and wingers dug in before Fiachra Collins found the net with three minutes to go before the looming penalty shootout. Exciting stuff and exciting times to come.
