Mr. Wayne Lloyd, hairstylist and successful businessman, gave a very informative talk today to those 6th year students considering a career in hairdressing. We appreciate that Wayne is extremely busy and are very grateful to him for giving up his time. Wayne offered to help out the school in any way he can.

5th Year students James Maguire, Alan Leonard, Kevin Hurley, Patrick Crowley and Eoin Leahy sang the "Fields of Athenry" over the school's intercom at 12noon on Friday as a mark of respect to the great Anthony Foley. The Munster Flag flew outside the school to remember a rugby great who gave us great memories to treasure. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam.

Hard luck to the Senior Boys Football Team and their coaches Mr. O'Driscoll, Mr. Moore and James McCarthy, who were beaten by St. Flannans, Ennis yesterday on a score line of 1-8 to 10 points. This was the first game in their Munster Corn Uí Mhuirí Championship campaign.
Well done to the Senior Boys Basketball Team and their coaches Ms. Keating and Lorcan who beat St. Patrick's Comprehensive, Shannon today on a score line of 41 points to 34 in the first round of the Senior Cup.
