We were delighted to visit St. Patrick’s Boys Primary School today to visit their school garden after our year long association with them.
Mr. Brian Granahan, Ms. Helena Kingston, Ms. Hilda Hegarty and the Senior Infants greeted us.
Six of our Transition Years spent the year helping out in their garden. Thanks to Aran O’Driscoll, Jack O’Shea, Jack Foley, John O’Donovan, Aran Lynch Whooley and Kieran Murphy for their help. They made raised beds, cleaned footpaths, weeded the geo dome, repurposed areas and organised the drills.
Thanks very much to St. Patrick’s Primary School for initiating the project. Thanks to Mr. Anton O’Mahony, Mr. Brian Granahan, Mr. Alan Foley, Ms. Hilda Hegarty, Mr. Conor Uhl, Ms. Gretta Burchill, Mr. Tom Foley and Ms. Orla O’Sullivan for their coordination.
Thanks to Mr. Ronan O Driscoll, Mr. Dan Mc Sweeney and Mr. Liam Shanahan for their expertise.
Thanks very much to Mr. Alan Foley for the lovely pizzas today. Best of luck to St. Patrick’s Boys Primary School for their upcoming judging for the Cork County School Garden Competition.
