Today, Monday, our LCA1 students began researching for their General Education Task. They followed the famine walking trail of Skibbereen and while listening to the audio associated with each stop, they learned about various aspects of the Irish potato famine in Skibbereen and the effects it had on the people and the town. We are lucky to have such a great resource available to us on our doorstep.
