TY Students Enjoy Action-Packed Day at Warren Beach

Our TY students recently enjoyed an exciting trip to Warren Beach, where they took part in surfing and pitch and putt activities. The surfing session gave students the opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence in the water, and enjoy the beautiful coastal surroundings. Meanwhile, the pitch and putt provided a fun and friendly challenge for everyone involved.

The group also had the privilege of hearing from Rory Jackson of the Ocean Plastic Project. Rory delivered an informative and engaging talk on the growing issue of microplastics and the impact of plastic pollution on our oceans and environment. Students learned about the importance of reducing plastic waste and the positive actions individuals can take to help protect our planet.

It was a memorable and educational day that combined outdoor adventure, teamwork, and environmental awareness. We would like to thank Rory Jackson and the Ocean Plastic Project, as well as all the staff and instructors who helped make the trip such a success.
