LRC students participated in an Orienteering Ireland initiative, aimed at introducing and promoting the sport of orienteering, held in the Warren Beach Rosscarbery.
The event was a huge success with school’s from the surrounding areas in attendance. A huge thanks to the team, including Déirdre Ní Challanáin, Regional Development Officer with Orienteering Ireland and Steve Perkins.
A hugely successful event, incorporating learning and skill building through sport and community involvement. Thanks also to Ms. Carla Nugent and our SNA team who helped make this trip possible and ‘are not at all competitive!’.
