Congratulations to our Senior Ladies’ Football Team and their coaches, Ms. Ella Ryan, Ms. Anna Ward, Ms. Kate O Donovan and Mr. Ger Carey on winning the County “A” Football Championship today in Kilmichael. They beat St.Mary’s of Midleton, one of their fiercest rivals, in a cracking match under blue skies. This win completes the treble for this amazing team who have now won the County, Munster and All-Ireland “A”titles for 2025.
The School Community wish to thank all of these girls for their fantastic efforts this year. They have made incredible memories for themselves and the school. We are so proud of all their achievements. We wish to particularly thank the 8 Leaving Certs; Kathlyn, Leah, Becca, Niamh, Eleanor, Maeve, Hannah and Tara for their long service and wish them well in their exams and future endeavours. We cannot thank our coaches enough for giving so much of their time and energy to help this team reach this greatness. We wish to also acknowledge the efforts of the local clubs who have also helped to shape this bunch. Many thanks to our staff, parents and students who have travelled the length and breath of the country to support our girls. 2025 will go down in the annals of the school’s history!
