On Monday 19th October 2026, LRC students will make our annual trip to Leap Scarecrow Festival.

Students will walk through Leap village admiring all the Scarecrow entries, not to mind their own entry that honours a Music Legend. Keep an eye out folks.

Students will then visit Gers’ Wild Atlantic Diner, for Brunch.
Students can bring their own pocket money and purchase items independently. There will be no need to send in Small Lunch on this day.

Please ensure that students have a warm waterproof coat and pocket money.

On our way back to school we will also visit Skibbereen Residential Care Centre, to make a presentation of wooden projects the Level 1 students have been busy working on, as part of their ‘Living in the Community Module ’.

Bus will leave the school at 9:30 and be back for Lunchtime, bus escorts will not be effected by this trip.

Kind regards

L.R.C. Team
